The Hamilton Cams 07-CC-24V178 Towing 178/208 Camshaft Combo is engineered for the daily driver or tow rig looking for better efficiency in your Dodge/RAM Diesel. This camshaft has a short duration and wide lobe separation angle and the least amount of overlap (when intake and exhaust valves are both open at the same time) than any other Hamilton camshaft. If you live in higher elevations, do a lot of heavy hauling or are looking for greater efficiency for daily driving, this cam can help.
This kit upgrades every part of the 24 valve valvetrain: our best all-around performing camshaft, paired with valve springs that control the valvetrain to 4,500 rpm and 80 lbs of boost, pushrods rated to well over 3,000 hp, and 1.45″ tappets that provide more surface area — the best cam combo on the market for the 1998.5-2018 Dodge Cummins.
