Proheat Model 512CSA | Heavy-Duty Fluid Reservoir & Oil Pan Heater (250W)

Keep your machinery running smoothly even in the harshest winter conditions. The Proheat 512CSA is a heavy-duty, flexible silicone pad heater designed to pre-warm engine oil, hydraulic fluids, or water tanks. By maintaining optimal fluid temperature, it ensures faster starts, reduces engine wear, and improves cold-weather performance.

Key Features

  • High Performance: Delivers 250 Watts of heating power to quickly reach operating temperatures.

  • Ultra-Thin Design: At only .08" thick, the flexible pad easily conforms to the shape of your reservoir or oil pan.

  • Plug-and-Play: Comes with a 6-foot power cord for easy connection to a standard 120V outlet.

  • Complete Installation Kit: Includes everything you need for a permanent, professional mount (adhesive, sandpaper, spreader, and cable ties).

Application Guide

This versatile heater is optimized for various fluid capacities:

Technical Specifications

  • Model: 512CSA

  • Power: 250 Watts / 2.1 Amps

  • Voltage: 120 Volts

  • Dimensions: 5.25" x 3.5" x 0.08"

  • Safety: CSA Approved (Model 512 CSA)

What’s in the Box?

  1. Heating Pad with integrated 6' power cord.

  2. Specialized Adhesive for high-heat bonding.

  3. Sandpaper for surface preparation.

  4. Application Spreader for even adhesive distribution.

  5. Zip Ties for secure cord management.

Installation Tips

IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING: Do NOT apply silicone, debris, dirt, or any material between the heater pad and the mounting surface. Any gap between the heater and the oil pan or reservoir can cause improper heat transfer, overheating, and may result in fire, damage to the vehicle, or personal injury. The heater pad must be applied directly to clean, bare metal.

Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean and sand the reservoir or oil pan to clean, bare metal. Remove all oil, paint, rust, and debris.

Application: Peel off the backing and apply the heater pad directly to the reservoir or oil pan. Apply firm, even pressure.

Sealing: Use high-temperature silicone (such as Permatex 77BR or equivalent) to seal only the outer edges of the pad. Do not allow silicone to migrate underneath the heater.

Wiring: Route the power cord to a safe, secure location away from moving parts, sharp edges, or extreme heat sources.

Cold Weather Tip: Warm the mounting surface before installation (run the engine or use a heat gun). Keep the heater pad warm during application for maximum adhesion. A helpful tip is to plug the heater in for approximately 5 seconds prior to application.

Wow my truck has never started this good!

Installed one on my ‘23 Ram 6.7 Cummins yesterday. Was -21 degrees outside and left the heater plugged in overnight and started the truck up in the morning and had instant oil temperature of 115 degrees! Wish I would have installed one of these years ago. Engine should last much longer now. Awesome product and super easy install. One tip for install if it’s cold out is to make sure your truck is warm as I found it will stick much better to the pan when it’s warm.
